Your California rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Request access to, or deletion of, your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
Sale and sharing of personal information
Our business connects you with lenders and partners. When you submit a request, we share the information you provide with participating lenders, lending networks, and marketing partners so they can present offers to you. Under California law, these disclosures — and the use of certain advertising cookies — may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
How to opt out
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email us at privacy@lendpath.example with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or call us toll-free at 1-800-555-0100.
We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing for that browser and device.
Note: Opting out of sale/sharing will limit interest-based advertising but does not stop the sharing necessary to connect you with a lender for a request you actively submit. If you do not want your information shared with lenders, simply do not submit a loan-matching request.
How to exercise access, correction, or deletion rights
To request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, contact us using the email or phone number above. We will verify your identity before processing your request, and we will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
Categories of information we collect
In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers (such as name, email, phone, and IP address), commercial and financial information (such as income and requested loan details), and internet activity information (such as browsing and usage data). For details on how this information is used and shared, see our Privacy Policy.
